This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. Ikeigwe AI Solutions Limited is the data controller.

1. What we collect

You give us

• Email address and name at registration.
• Your alert preferences — sensitivity, timezone, quiet hours.
• Your Telegram chat identifier, if you choose to link it.
• Any correspondence you send us.

Collected automatically

• Login timestamps and account activity.
• Server logs including IP address, browser type and pages requested, retained up to 30 days.

From Stripe

• Subscription status, billing period and customer identifier. We never see or store your card details — those are held by Stripe.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the service — account access, alert delivery. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To take payment — via Stripe. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To secure the service — abuse prevention, fraud detection. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• To send service emails — billing, changes to terms. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To send marketing — only where you have opted in. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors necessary to run the service:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Telegram — alert delivery, if you link an account.
• Our hosting provider — server infrastructure.

We may disclose data where legally required.

4. International transfers

Some processors operate outside the UK. Where data is transferred, it is protected by adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep it

• Account data: while your account is open, then 12 months.
• Billing records: 7 years, as required by UK tax law.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@ikeigwe.com and we will respond within one month.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Databases are not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The service is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

Material changes will be notified by email. The date at the top shows the current version.
